You've probably all been wondering how I've been coping with the recent heat wave. The answer is, not well. I'm doing my best to get rid of this fur coat I'm stuck wearing but as hard as I try I just can't seem to shake it all off. Anyway, if it gets hot enough the cheapskate lady finally puts the AC on. Let me tell you, there's nothing better than that sweet cold air flowing up under me. I lay on the register to make sure I capture as much of that air as possible. I've even decided it's best to keep my ball and bone close by so I don't have to leave. Even if the lady turns it off, I still lay there, just hoping and wishing that eventually the magic cold air will return.
Pardon me, I'm starting to break a sweat, I need to go eat an ice cube.

Sharing
As you may have gathered by now, I'm not much of a sharer. I like my napping spaces to myself, or if necessary manipulate them to my maximum comfort. Last week the lady and the dude let some over-tanned dog into the house and it's been here for days. They call him Bosco. He steals my toys, gets half of the attention, takes my favorite napping spots, and as far as can tell isn't providing much in return. I suppose he's cute enough, but he's not really my type.
I've had about enough when this morning he had the audacity to weasel his way onto the bed. Attempting to keep the situation peaceful I gave him the stink-eye. (Different from the crook-eye).

When this didn't seem to have much affect I considered my options. I realized it was much to early to bother with showing him who was boss. So, I figured, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
But I wasn't happy about it.

My Chair
Just so you know, this is my chair. Not the lady's chair, not the dude's chair. It's where I keep an eye out on the neighborhood through my window, and my preferred daytime napping spot. You're welcome to visit my house, but you may not sit my chair.

Winter time!
I am so sorry to all my fans for my December hiatus. I've found the holidays and cold weather to be just exhausting and I have a hard time coming out of my hibernative sleeping even to type a short blog.
I promise, I'll try to do better in the coming months.
So to update you all on my latest napping exploits...
The lady and dude put a tree in the house and covered it with balls. Every time I tried to play fetch with these balls they would break in my mouth and I would get in trouble. I still haven't quite figured out the point of the ball tree if it wasn't for fetch purposes. Overall I would say the holidays were a good experience, I got some new bones and fuzzy neon green balls (my fav).

The holidays also included a long ride to gma's and gpa's. I don't mind riding much, I like to stick my head out the window on the highway. If I get tired, I just lay down for a little car nap.
The recent cold weather is a real bummer, the dude won't take me for walks if it's cold, and the lady's real frugal with the heat. So, I've mostly been just trying to keep warm.
