Sometimes the dude and the lady think they get priority of the best napping spots in the house.  Of course, this is far from the truth.  I've found that I can easily maneuver my way into my rightful napping spots, I just need to be a little creative.

Napping Ambience

For the novice napper who may find it hard to get comfy for mid-day naps, I reccommend setting a relaxing mood.  Here, you'll see I had the fireplace candles lit, and the overhead lighting low.  Don't worry though, the lady lit the candles for me; without thumbs I find matches to be nearly impossible to use.

The lady had a couple of friends over the other night.  We all had a lovely girls night; eating, drinking grape juice, and laughing the night away.  In the end though, I just couldn't hang with them.

I hope everyone had a fun weekend!  I partied with the best of them, looking frightful in my witch costume.

By the end of it all, I was exhausted.

The cold night air

As the autumn air has turned brisk I've found my natural animal instincts to burrow have really kicked in.  In this picture that the lady took of me on a recent cold morning where I had found optimal comfort with my head burrowed.  But, my tail enjoys a little more air movement.

The lady usually gets up first to go to work on weekday mornings which means I get a full half of the bed for a while.  I'm trying to figure out how to get the full bed...

A brief history

I started napping when I was just a puppy. There was always a lot going on, things to sniff and what-not. I would often get exhausted and collapse in a peaceful slumber.

Luckily the dude that I let live me likes to nap too.

He's shown me the ropes of good napping.

 

As I got older, and bigger, I had a harder time getting comfortable.

Occassionally I get chilly and need a blanket to maximize my napping comfort.

So that I think that that brings everyone up to speed. I think I can really help people understand what a good nap looks like, so I'm going to be posting the pictures the lady gives me so people can appreciate how adorable I am.
